Sunekos® in the Scottish Borders

Improve skin quality, hydration and fine lines with a regenerative injectable treatment

At Tweed Aesthetics in Greenlaw, Scottish Borders, we believe that healthy, beautiful skin starts with improving skin quality rather than simply adding volume.

Sunekos® is an injectable skin treatment designed to support the skin’s natural regeneration processes, helping to improve hydration, elasticity and the appearance of fine lines.

It offers a subtle, natural-looking approach to skin rejuvenation, particularly for those noticing changes in their skin as they age.

What is Sunekos®?

Sunekos® is an injectable treatment containing a combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids.

These ingredients are designed to support the extracellular matrix — the structure within our skin that helps maintain firmness, elasticity and hydration.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sunekos is not primarily intended to add volume or change facial contours.

Instead, it focuses on improving the overall quality and appearance of the skin.

What can Sunekos® help with?

Sunekos may be suitable for patients concerned about:

  • Fine lines and early wrinkles
  • Dehydrated or crepey-looking skin
  • Loss of skin elasticity
  • Thin or delicate skin
  • Changes in skin texture
  • Signs of ageing around the eyes
  • Skin that has lost some of its natural firmness and radiance

Sunekos can be used in several areas, depending on the product selected and individual assessment, including the face, neck, décolletage and delicate eye area.

Sunekos® for Under-Eye Rejuvenation

The skin around our eyes is particularly delicate and often one of the first areas to show signs of ageing.

Fine lines, crepey skin and changes in elasticity can make the eye area appear tired.

Sunekos may help improve the quality and hydration of this delicate skin without the volumising effect associated with traditional dermal fillers.

It is important to understand that Sunekos is not a treatment for every under-eye concern. Significant eye bags, puffiness or hollowing may require a different approach.

A thorough consultation will help determine whether it is appropriate for you.

What happens during treatment?

Your treatment begins with a complimentary consultation with Katrina Morrison, Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber.

We will discuss your skin concerns, medical history and what you would like to achieve.

If Sunekos is suitable, the treatment involves a series of small injections into the selected area using an appropriate clinical protocol.

You may experience temporary redness, small raised areas, swelling or bruising at the injection sites.

Most people can return to their normal daily activities relatively quickly, although recovery varies.

How many treatments will I need?

Sunekos is generally offered as a course of 3 treatments rather than a single appointment.

The number of sessions and spacing between appointments will depend on the Sunekos formulation, treatment area and your individual skin needs.

Improvements tend to develop gradually as the skin responds to treatment.

Results vary between individuals, and maintenance treatments may be recommended.

Sometimes a combination of treatments may be considered, and sometimes improving your skincare routine is the best place to start.

There is no pressure to proceed with treatment.
